The American democracy is in peril.
Only 30% of young Americans think of democracy as “essential” and over the last six years, 22 Republican-controled states have implemented voting restrictions. Fifty years after the passing of the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act - the two laws that ended political segregation – the United States is setting back. But all across the country, citizens and activists challenge these voting restrictions in courts, and mobilize on the Internet.
